eBay watch: Original 1972 Munich Olympics poster by Allen Jones

Allen

These things are getting more collectable by the year, original 1972 Munich Olympics posters we mean, not least this one by British pop artist Allen Jones.

28 posters were produced for the Munich Art Series by a variety of noted artists at the time, but the Allen Jones poster was the only one that featured the Olympic rings.

It's from as run of 2000, signed 'in the plate' and printed on good quality paper. As a future collectable, it's worth a look, as well as being an eye-catching piece of wall art in its own right. £5.19 is the current bid price.

eBay watch: 1960s Joe Colombo Elda armchair

Colombo

You can buy them in the UK, although they're both expensive and incredibly hard to find. So this used version of the iconic Joe Colombo Elda armchair could be worth considering, if you want one in your home.

Amazingly, it sates back to 1963, although it's generally considering a seat of the 70s – perhaps because of its widespread use in sci-fi movies and TV shows of that era.

For your money you get a reinforced ABS plastic swivel seat, with a plush interior of contrasting leather, in this case brown. The current owner has had it for a few years, but describes it as being in 'good condition' with 'a few marks' from age on the shell and obviously, some wear on the leather. £2,300 is the price.

eBay watch: 1950s midcentury magazine rack and side table

Book

Two items for one in this 1950s magazine rack and side table.

It doesn't have an accredited designer, but it looks very much like a quality piece in a midcentury style, with angled, metal-tipped legs, 'teardrop' panels, a black glass shelf and angled wooden shelves for your magazines.

The table is described as being in 'excellent original condition', with just a 5cm scratch on the glass, which is 'not too visible' as it is black on black. The bidding right now is at £9.

eBay watch: Serviced and restored 1950s Dansette Major record player

Dansette

We love a record player, as you might have noticed, with this 1950s Dansette Major record player just catching our eye.

It appeals for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it's a Dansette, an icon of an era and still a functional record player in its own right. But even better, this one has been fully serviced and restored by a Dansette service engineer, so everything works, from the valves to the auto-changer. It even comes with the relevant paperwork and stylus details.

It is worth noting that this late-50s player is in original, rather than restored condition, so expect some wear over the years. However, it is described as being in 'excellent clean' condition, with original bronzed hinges, lid fasteners, and carry handle mounts, as well as the original black and gold model label, and address label. Right now, the bidding is at £10.50 with no reserve.

eBay watch: Fully-restored 1971 Fiat 500 Lux

Fiat

To be fair to Fiat, the company has done a superb job with the modern-day reissue of the Fiat 500. But the vintage ones just offer that little but more character, as this fully-restored 1971 Fiat 500 Lux demonstrates well.

This is an impressive, low-mileage model – just 25,000 on the clock over those 40 years, would you believe. It's also a 'fully and thoroughly restored' Fiat 500 with 'all works carried out by a UK Fiat authorised dealership'. That means all mechanics, electrics and bodywork, with the car ready to go as a regular ride or for shows.

Sold with the original handbook and Italian logbook (yes, it's a left-hand drive), the current price is £1,020. Many more images on the website.

eBay watch: 1970s Crayonne Moon table lamp for Habitat

Crayonne

We have featured one of these in the past, but if you missed out on that 1970s Crayonne Moon table lamp for Habitat, there's another one there now with a low starting price.

As we mentioned before, Crayonne was a Habitat brand in the 1970s, with this lamp being sold in the early to mid-70s in the design store. I stands just over 21cm tall, with the lamp a mix of yellow plastic and chrome.

According to seller, the yellow plastic is 'crazed', but is listed as a design fault rather than more recent damage. It's also been checked and a new plug added. Right now, it's at £4.99.
