1970s B-Line Buk magazine rack by Rodolfo Bonetto reissued

Buk

A stylish design from the 1970s is back on the market – the B-Line Buk magazine rack by Rodolfo Bonetto.

Bonetto designed it back in 1972, with one eye on a double sale. You see, this rotomoulded polyethylene rack is a u-shape, designed to interlink with another unit, either in the same colour or one of the other four colours in the range.

But if you just want the one, it's available for £85 online.

Cosmos Shade Sputnik-style light fitting at Dutch By Design

Cosmos

If you want this, you'll have to be quick, as the Cosmos Shade at Dutch By Design is reduced, because it's about to be discontinued.

It's another take on the classic 1960s Sputnik light fitting, with this version of the space-inspired light fitting offering up a whopping 24 bulbs on those chrome arms, which in turn are fitted to a central 'ball'.

The whole thing is around 65cm high and 31.3cm wide, usually selling for £145. But as it's the last couple, £85 is the price if you're quick.

1950s-inspired Whitby wallpaper by Mini Moderns

Minimoderns1

Yes, we know we've mentioned them already this week, but Mini Moderns are more than worthy of another mention for this very hip Whitby wallpaper.

We're deep in the 1950s, with the wallpaper inspired by '50s linocuts, as well as the vibrancy of that particular fishing port 'back in the day'. Fishing boats, hungry seagulls and the crashing of the waves all combining to create something that's both retro and stylish.

The wallpaper comes in 10m x 52cm rolls, printed with waterbased inks on paper from sustained forests. Four new colourways to choose from – Washed Denim, Awning Red, Stone and Lido. Two are above, the other two are pictured over the page. The price is £45 per roll and is available before the month is out.

eBay watch: 1950s Danish midcentury mini cabinet

Cabinet

There's no brand on this, but there is no denying that the 1950s Danish midcentury mini cabinet pictured above is an eye-catching piece of design.

Screaming the era, this gem has those 'skinny' angled legs, a grained oak and teak finish plus two shelves behind the two doors. Just pull on the brass handles to get inside.

The seller ships worldwide for a modest price and the selling price right now is equally as modest. Just £9.
