Love the look of this 1960s swinging wall lamp, which is ideal for any room inspired by the era.
Over on our His Knibs site, we have a review of a book heading your way in a couple of days – Boutique London A History: King's Road to Carnaby Street by Richard Lester.
The title probably says it all. Published by ACC Ediitons, this 192-page book is part tourist guide from a bygone era, part history and part coffee table glossy, taking in retailers big and small from the early 60s to the mid-70s, but primarily focusing on swinging London at its height.
Check out the review now, with the book going on sale on September 30th 2010.
Who needs a deckchair when you can swing around in the sun in this Soltera Tropica hanging egg chair, which is available at B&Q.
This 60s-style seat is good for both indoors and out because it's freestanding and has a robust, supporting frame – no need to hand the chair from a sturdy ceiling. All you have to do is put together a few parts, slip in the provided cushion and swing away like a swinging London hipster.
The chair is made from rattan weave effect and is available online only, selling for £399.98.
