Vitra in London is having a clearout for one day only – and that day is Saturday 19th January 2008, with the sale starting at 9.30am.
And it looks to be worth the effort. In fact, Vitra claims some buyers arrive several days early to grab the big bargains, which usually disappear within minutes of the doors opening. Those will include an iconic Eames Lounge Chair, an Eames Softpad Chair (EA217) and a George Nelson Coconut Chair all in black leather and a Jasper Morrison 3-seater Park Sofa in brown leather all to be sold for a ridiculous £99 each (+ vat). In fact, everything will have at least 40 per cent off and much with 70 per cent off.
