The myriad of retro and vintage inspired lines on the high street of late have generally been quite impressive. While some favour a stab at authenticity, many have gone full tilt for a modern take on retro influences. With all that, though, Warehouse’s new 50’s collection is the downfall.
While there are a few pretty pieces and all at great prices, the range neither updates the style nor truly gets the look back spot on. The result is some nice skirts and dresses and the rest looking a bit like frankly rubbish filler. Not exactly inspirational, but worth a look for some wardrobe filling bargains that will wear with anything.
