e500 - the electric Fiat 500 now available to order

Let's be honest, the Fiat 500 isn't exactly a gas guzzler, but if you really want to go down the eco-friendly route, you can now order an electric version of the Fiat 500 - the e500.

The car is built to order by an Italian firm called Micro-Vett, who have apparently been active in creating electric vehicles since the late 80s. Essentially this is your average Fiat 500 (with all the attributes, refinement, crash safety and warranty) - but without the emissions.

Not as fast though - the electric version does around 60mph and has a range of 75 miles using an advanced lithium-ion polymer battery. You can order one now for the UK via the Nice car company, price on application.
