Is boiling water on the stove more economical than using an electric kettle? In these uncertain economic times, it may be prudent to know the answer to this. However, with the Britannia Retro Stove Kettle the old-fashioned way looks good.

It is made from brushed stainless steel and its retro looks are enhanced by modern features of an insulated, easy-grip handle and an in-built limescale filter in spout.

It costs £48 and is available to buy from Iggloo. If you like the design of this kettle, but prefer an electric kettle, there is a similar shaped electric version also available at the higher price of £79.
