Cole & Son 1950s Tropical Birds wallpaper

Cole & Son has been producing wallpapers for over 300 years, so you would expect the company to have a pretty decent archive. It has - and the new Frontier collection of wallpaper is sourced from it.

According to the company, the new collection is based on a bygone era of 'exotic travel and discovery'. All the archive designs have been re-coloured for the modern market and all are incredibly eye-catching designs.

The one above is typical. It's called Tropical Birds and is an original 1950s design by Una Lindsey - those birds available in a range of colours from off white to emerald green. if you want a roll, it retails online for £65.
