The official name is the Retro Invader Couch, but we're calling this 8-bit-inspired home furnishing by the name everyone else will be calling it – the Space Invaders sofa.
The name change is probably down to the licensing, there's no mention of that anywhere. But there is mention of the designer, one Igor Chak, who has created this retro gaming gem in limited numbers, all handmade in Los Angeles and all in the shape of an old school alien invader.
That pixelated design is created from a mix of leather and memory foam cushioning , with the total size around 196cm(W) x 84cm(D) x 75.8cm(H).
Unfortunately, you'll need more than a stash of coins to get in with this arcade classic. £5,500 is the price, with Firebox taking the orders.
