eBay watch: 1960s Dieter Rams-designed Braun T52 portable radio

Radio1

Good design doesn't age, even if the technology behind it does. As this 1960s Dieter Rams-designed Braun T52 portable radio more than proves.

It dates back to 1962, which makes this piece of Rams design an impressive 50 years old. I've got a DAB that doesn't look a lot different to this, which is testament to Rams' minimalist/modernist approach 'back in the day'.

The radio is powered by 6x batteries, with the radio fully functional (over FM, long wave and medium wave), while the condition described as 'fair', with some light marking to the body and the battery compartment cover a replacement.

See the full details on the site and if you want it, £51 is the current price.
