British born, Australian dwelling designer Lucy King has been mentioned round these parts before: for her jewellery made from vintage ceramics. However, she's also got a lovely line in illustration and it's her love for retro tableware that's behind such pieces as this Fancy a Cuppa plate.
It's part of a range of melamine plates which are decorated with her depictions of vintage ceramics. Four beautiful cups on this plate transform the everyday material into something quite beautiful. The polka dot background is the icing on this pretty teatime feast.
