The design is approaching 50 years old, yet this Hans Agne Jakobsson-designed Lamell ceiling light for Trapez has never looked so fresh.
That's down to its fairly minimalist Scandinavian style, which is the kind of thing that is still doing good business today. This is said to be a '70s or '80s production of a 1960s design, with the main shade made of sheet metal lacquered white. There are two smaller inner shades within, also lacquered white, fixed to each other by three white metal rods and spaced out to emphasise the light effect.
There is also a sheet metal cylinder placed at the top of the main lampshade housing the bulb casing and fitted with a small white circular mesh lid. The original Trapez label is still present inside the smallest shade too.
The lamp is said to be 'in very good condition and in full working order', with 'very few age related faint marks on the lacquer work' and 'a small shallow dent on the main lampshade'. See the rest of the shots for the close-ups and see the listing for full details.
If you fancy it, the price right now is £2.20.
