Officially-licensed 1960s Star Trek Door Chime

Fans of vintager sci-fi just might want to adorn the side of their doors with this officially-licensed Star Trek Door Chime.

As fans of the show will know, this is modelled on the original (1960s) Star Trek communicator panels, offering a motion-sensitive door chime with three distinctive sound effects - a push-button Communicator Whistle, Door Opening sound and a Red Alert alarm, in case of alien intruders.

It is said to be easy to mount and works with 3x AA batteries. Likely to be a pretty good talking point too. if you want one, £24.99 is the price.

Fans of the show might also be interested in these Star Trek iPhone 4 cases too, which are also new at Firebox.
