Stenberg Brothers Constructivist Film posters on Culture Label

20th century graphic design fans familiar with the work of the Stenberg Brothers already will be pleased to see Culture Label have reissued two of their film posters at a budget-friendly price.

The Stenberg Brothers were key figures in the post-revolution Soviet Constructivist art movement, reducing objects to basic shapes and molding together man and machine through abstract forms & imagery. In these two prints, Man With The Movie Camera (pictured) and A Fearless Man from the late 1920s, they apply the DaDa-esque photomontage, geometric forms and distorted perspective & scale that would become the hallmarks of the Russian Modernist movement.
