Alvar Aalto-designed Artek Stool 60 gets an 80th anniversary reissue

We actually first featured this design as far back as 2006 and most recently, when it was reissued in Bauhaus colours. Now the Alvar Aalto-designed Artek Stool 60 is back once more, with the modernist classic getting an 80th anniversary reissue.

Not just any old reissue either. There are six unique colour options to choose from, each one hand-painted and each one designed by Mike Meire for the anniversary.

Aside from that, it's business as usual for the iconic stool, except perhaps the price. These come at a premium, selling for £195 each.
