Midcentury-style Mercury Clock by Newgate
The middle of the 20th century looks to be the inspiration of this Mercury Clock by Newgate.
Ideal for any wall (but probably best suited to the kitchen), this industrial-style clock (you can imagine something like it hanging on various factory and office walls in the past) has a glossy case in a choice of black or red, a clean dial and bold retro numbers. There's also the hands of course, along with a contrasting sweeping hand for the seconds.
Sized at 35 x 35 x 9cm and powered by a single AA battery battery, it sells for £50.
