House DK have frequently cropped on this site for their unusual homeware designs. Their new BAS range of tables trades the quirky looks for some classic midcentury-style.
The company appears to have gone back to their Danish roots for these new designs. There are three tables in the range – starting with a coffee table and going up to a large dining table. Each table is circular and made from rosewood, with an attractive wooden frame and splayed legs. While the designs may look all grown-up, some touches of their usual style remain – you might notice the coffee table has a wheel at the bottom of one of its legs. Otherwise, they are good classic designs that will hopefully last a lifetime.
