Gio Ponti Small Table

The Gio Ponti Small Table may not be a large imposing piece of furniture, but its heritage and price tag certainly are.

Designed in 1954-55, it was created by Gio Ponti, one of the most important Italian designers, architects and publishers of the last century - a man of many talents beyond creating interesting side tables. This piece, simply known as the small table, has a distinctive handpainted geometric pattern on the crystal glass table top. It costs just shy of £1,500.
