When you talk modern design, the name Tom Dixon is never far from anyone's lips. But this Form tea set is anything but contemporary, throwing out a very different art deco vibe.

The set is fairly extensive, consisting of a jug, tea caddy, milk jug, sugar dish, spoon and tray, all very stylised with the kind of curves and sharp angles you would expect from the kind of high-end 1930s tea set that might have spent its life in an art deco house.

It's all made from spun brass, which is polished and then dipped in a warm-gold wash to give a 'subtle matt' surface. There's also a nice touch with the Bakelite detailing, with an etched logo on the base finishing things off.

Doesn't come cheap though. Prices vary between £50 and £140 per piece.
