Modernist dollshouse

Looking for an alternative than the usual Victorian-style dolls house? This Baines&Fricker dolls house has a cool modernist looks, as well as leaving plenty of scope for the all-important decoration.

As you can tell from the image below, it's a very simple design made from Birch ply. The husband and wife duo behind the design were looking for a study and blocky version of a dolls house - aims that chime very well with those of modernist architecture – and ended up making their own.

Aside from the enviable shape of the frontage, the inside is left blank and ready for your kids (or your own) decoration and toys. Though you could possibly start with Baines&Fricker's Cements Work wallpaper we featured last year.
