eBay watch: 1970s Motoko Ishii-designed chrome and glass light fitting

It certainly isn't cheap, although you can make an offer on this amazing 1970s Motoko Ishii-designed chrome and glass light fitting on eBay.

It's a statement light, no question. Designed by Motoko Ishii for Staff in Germany in the 1970s, it's very much of its era and if you want a dominating 1970s light fitting in your home, you really can't go wrong with this one.

It works as a wall or ceiling light, with none glass balls hanging from that chrome plate, the whole thing around 62.5 x 62.5cm. It's said to be in 'very good original' condition and is up for £776.84 on a 'Buy It Now'. But you can put in a lower offer.
