It has the versatility to be both, so we'll describe this as a midcentury sewing or storage box.
According to the seller, it's a Danish design, dating from the 1950s or '60s and officially a sewing box. With the boom in crafting, we suspect it will be utilised as one again.
It has two large lidded drawers with compartments below for your bits and pieces, metallic handles and brass-tipped angled legs for support. Condition is described as 'very good' with 'some commensurate wear to the lids' and 'some scuffs on the sides'. Not bad for those decades of use.
Not a bad price right now too, currently at £10.
