We have featured the classic Airstream caravan in the past and at first glance, you would think this is one. But it's actually a Rooftop Rocket, found on the roof of the Brooks Guesthouse in Bristol.

These are British-made caravans inspired by the classic Airstream, which have then been lidded onto the roof of Bristol's Brooks Guesthouse to add a new retro dimension to its accommodation. If heights are an issue, this probably isn't for you. But if you are good with being high in the sky as you sleep and relax, perhaps it is?

Vintage looks of course, with the caravans sat on artificial turf to give the impression of being outside in the great outdoors (rather than being in the city). Get inside your Rocket (there's a choice of 16ft, 18ft and 20ft models) and you'll find 5ft pocket sprung mattresses dressed with goose down pillows and duvets, flat screen TVs with built in DVD, an iPad-friendly clock radio, the usual hospitality tray, cotton towels, eco heating, eco LED lighting, full length mirrors and a bathroom.

All of that plus rooftop views of Bristol city centre. Prices vary depending on your choice of vehicle, but start at £90.
