I thought we had covered all the the retro-style G Plan Vintage seating range, but it seems like the Sixty Six sofa and armchair has so far eluded us.
Until now that is, obviously. It's not an easy one to find (not least, because this isn't one of the ranges offered nationally in John Lewis), but you can get this in a number of independent furnishing stores.
Might be worth seeking out if you want something, clean, simple and very much inspired by the mid-1960s. The range includes a large sofa, small sofa, armchair and a footstool, with the seats all with a sloped back, angled arms, a birch hardwood frame, serpentine sprung suspension, turned wooden legs in a choice of three finishes and a wide range of fabric options for the upholstery.
A number of the retailers have it in the sale right now (including the one we have picked out), with the chair down to £699 and the sofas to £1,195 and £1,295 respectively.
