We featured a chair by the same name a few years ago, although this Whitaker Sofa by Jonathan Adler only really hints at that previous design.

It does have one thing in common though, like the chair it doesn't come cheap. However it does have real impact, the kind of design you would expect to find in a really cool US midcentury modern property of the 1960s. Of its era, but hinting at the future.

Love the angled back, the button and pleat detailing, alone with the subtle armrests (which are hardly there at all), all of which is supported by those angled walnut legs.

It's a talking point as well as a place to fall into after a tough day. If that's what you need in your life, the Whitaker Sofa retails for £2,800 in two colour options.
