It looks like brass is back judging by the designer light fittings being reissued in it. If you want to join the party, you could go for this classic Starke brass bed at Made.
It looks every bit the vintage piece, which is pretty much the point here. A classic shape inspired by Victorian handmade beds and with an antique brass finish. Comfort isn’t forgotten though, with spring birch-wood slats and of course, room for the mattress of your choice.
All that metal should come at a price, but the Starke bed is surprisingly affordable at £449 (with the king size at a slightly pricier £499).
