If you don’t fancy one of the remakes of this design like the GPO model or the Urban Outfitters player, you can always bid for an original on eBay – like this 1960s Dansette Bermuda record player.
This is a reconditioned model of the Bermuda MKI, serviced and restored to ‘as new working condition’ and good to go with legs (which are not included in the sale, but are available to buy easily on eBay).
Everything has been stripped and cleaned inside and out, the valve amplifier serviced, parts replaced where necessary, modern-day cabling used for safety, the BSR UA15 turntable checked and lubricated and the original cartridge reconditioned too. See the listing for all the work undertaken.
So not a new player, but it might well seem like a new one, but with the added character of an original. Still four days left with this auction. The price as I type is at £57.
