It's the great mid-century shape of this chair that immediately caught our attention – but the upholstery means that this striped losange chair from Anthropologie is never going to get overlooked.
So, first the shape. It's inspired by mid-century modern Italian designs, with a deep set, a tufted back and those gorgeous curved arms. It's handmade in the USA and the hand-carved hardwood frame has been given a bold look with black and white striped upholstery. Meanwhile, dark wood angled legs complete the look.
It's an eye-catching design but, unfortunately, one that comes at a price. £998 to be specific.
