The radios themselves are designs that have featured on these pages in the past. But these Emma Bridgewater-designed View Quest retro DAB radios are both new finishes and exclusive to John Lewis.

The radios in questions are the Retro Mini (above) and the Hepburn. Both haver been made over with an Emma Bridgewater design that’s ideal for Valentine’s Day. Perhaps that’s why it has made it onto the shelves of John Lewis ahead of the weekend’s big day.

The actual radios are worth talking about too. The Retro Mini is a DAB+ radio and Bluetooth speaker with 5w speaker, additional FM receiver, the option to stream via a smart device and am alarm. There’s also an app available to control remotely.

The Hepburn is a different shape, but shares much of the functionality. This one has dual BMR speakers, FM as well as DAB, an alarm the same streaming options via Bluetooth and the app if you need it.

Both are available now online, with the Retro Mini retailing at £79.95 and the Hepburn selling for £149.95.
