It was back in 2011 that we last mentioned Beg Bicycles, but I found myself there again today on the hunt form something stylish with two wheels. The Sam racer certainly fit the bill.

The bike is described as a 1930s-inspired path racer and inspired by the tradition of Belgian road bikes. There are two options for it, a basic model of this minimalist cycle or the Deluxe, which adds Hebies ‘chainglider’, precision fenders and a gold chain.

Theres also a choice of gearing options, a Brooks Team Pro honey saddle with coper rails, classic Brooks bar tape and a choice of colours – Matt Black, Gloss Black, Red or Toad Taupe. If you opt for the Deluxe, you also get leather toeclips and a Antramvelo Mego kickstand.

Certainly not a cheap option regardless of the model you choose. Prices start at £675.
