It's nice to see one of these on eBay without a ridiculous asking price. In fact, this 1960s Ettore Sottsass Olivetti Valentine typewriter is still at a very modest price.
The cushion is covered with a black and white image of a vintage typewriter that covers the size of the cushion. It's not the only retro item they've chosen to decorate a cushion either: similar cushions are also available showing telephones and clocks.
This cushion costs £30.

Always nice to see one of these on eBay. While the Olivetti Valentine typewriter by Ettore Sottsass isn't as useful as it once was, it is still a design icon – and in this case, still cheap.
Designed back in 1969 (and named after its day of launch – Valentine's Day), this lightweight period gem comes with its own matching carry case to protect the inner machine, although if you bought it, you'd probably want to have it shown off on a desk or table without the casing.
It's described as being in 'absolute working and cosmetic condition', as well as having 'no scratches, dings or cracks'. No reserve, so bid away, the current price is just 62 pence.
We've made huge technological strides forward from the days of typewriters and copy correction fluid referenced on this rather smart and thoroughly modern faux leather laptop sleeve. It has a soft black exterior impressed with a pattern of vintage typewriter keys and a nod to the movie classic "The Shining" with the repeated lines "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."
The sleeve will accomodate laptops and notebooks with up to 15 inch screens. It costs £25 and is available from the Pod Company here.
Vintage typewriters are having something of a style moment. I've lost track of the amount of objects they've cropped up on recently, from brooches and earrings to cushions and bags. The latest to use their good looks is this Typewriter ceramic vase by House Doctor DK.
The vase is made from white ceramic and is decorated with a simple black motif of a typewriter, and a string of type coming out of the machine. Like this? There's also a vase available featuring another fashionable motif of the moment – the bicycle.
The vase costs £22.50.

We've already featured Dwell's Bertoia-like wire chair, part of their new collection. There are accessories worthy of note for retro fans too, such as this vintage typewriter cushion.
It's a very simple black and white design with the outline of the telephone displayed against faint, typewritten text. If you really want to celebrate vintage home accessories, there's also a similar cushion available that features the outline of a telephone.
Available now, the cushion costs £24.95
