Retro Rooms: Luxe Interior

Note all articles are independently researched and written by myself. However, if you buy via one of the links it may be an affiliate and I may earn a small commission.

This isn’t a room in a reader’s home, but an example of the interior design packages from Luxe Interior. Luxe Interior offers various packages by top designers and if your preferred style is ‘Quirky Retro’, it includes collections by Retro To Go favourites, Orla Kiely and Celia Birtwell.

Each package contains a scaleable scheme of furniture, accessories and fittings, which can be customised according to the size of your home. The Orla Kiely packages feature her signature stem print on soft furnishings and wall coverings, whilst Celia Birtwell’s includes the famous David Hockney ‘Puchinello’ clown print.

At the moment, this service is only being offered in Dubai, which means it probably won’t be taken up by many of our readers, but there are plans to extend the service to London in the future. As you would expect with a service providing a comprehensive inventory of high-end designer products, this doesn’t come cheaply – prices start at 110,000 AED (approximately £15,000) for a studio package by Orla Kiely and 115,000 AED for a Celia Birtwell package.

The rooms pictured are undeniably tasteful and stylish, but it does perhaps take away the fun of putting together a room yourself with interesting finds from here and there. But if you are short of time and not of money (and in Dubai), then Luxe Interior could be a useful service. For the rest of us, their website is still worth a look for interior design inspiration.

  1. Amazing!!! I would love to live in this house!!! It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I would just break the glass wall between the kitchen and the living room.
