No Wave: Post Punk Underground New York 1976-1980” claims to be the first book to document the collision of art and punk in the New York underground scene.

Its authors, Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth fame) and journalist Byron Coley have put together a collection of photographs (many never before published) and anecdotes from hours of interviews with the key players, which combines to give in-depth examination of punk rock, new wave and avant-garde art.

It is available to buy on Amazon in hardback priced under £10.
