On 13th and 14th June Carnaby Street will be revisiting the era with which it is synonymous with Swinging Carnaby, a weekend of events and promotions celebrating the 60s.

The street will host a range of 60s inspired activities with highlights including complimentary 60s style makeovers courtesy of MAC and Pix!, style advise on dressing like Twiggy in the Beauty Lounge and archive displays from that period from Lee Jeans, Van’s, Fred Perry and Hilfiger Denim. DJS will be playing in many of the stores, whilst live bands with a retro influence will play from a stage at the corner of Carnaby and Broadwick Streets.

The weekend also offers another opportunity to see Philip Townsend’s photography exhibition “Sorry you Missed The 60s” and Art Vinyl will host an exhibition of iconic album artwork from the period.
