Fancy mixing up a classic this weekend? You need Vintage Cocktails by Laziz Hamani.

140 pages looking at 'the lost art of mixing the perfect drink' by using just a few ingredients and the right quantities. Plenty of drinks on show, along with images of the end product. So if you like the idea of offering up a Mary Pickford (white rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, maraschino liqueur) or a Cape Codder (vodka, cranberry juice, ice and a touch of lime), you know where to look.

Although it's not a cheap place to look, this glossy hardback coming in at a weighty £35.
