Although the description doesn’t say as much the Hot Stuff Trivet is instantly recognisable as based on a Love Heart sweet.
Made from solid oak (as opposed to sugar), it has the words “Hot Stuff” inside a heart shape carved into the round trivet. “Hot Stuff” was definitely a real Love Hearts message – I’m not sure whether it still is – the sweets having been disgracefully updated with modern nonsense like “Text Me”.
