Following the Sex Pistols Distilled print mentioned yesterday, here is The Design Conspiracy’s take on their iconic album in their Never Mind the Bollocks Print.
The designer Kingsley applied the same punk DIY aesthetic that Jamie Reid used with his cut and paste artwork – it had to be done quickly and simply, just like the punk ethos of ‘anyone can do it’. The design has been created with glossy tape like bondage tape wrapped around a 12 inch square in the three colours of the original design. The design should be immediately recognisable to anyone who knows their album artwork, but without the risk of offending any visiting elderly relatives.
