Looking for a paint to set off that retro feature wall to best effect? Try one of the colours in Little Greene’s Retrospectives paint collection.

Comprising 32 authentic colours from the 1960s and 1970s, there is a mixture of brights and more muted shades. The background to each shade is provided such as when it was first used or how it was popularly used back in the day. For example, the 1960s yellow Lemon Mivvi was “brought with migrants from the West Indies in the early to mid 1960s, was sometimes used as an external colour, and on internal walls, balanced by plain green linoleum floors.”

The collection also includes shades used by David Hicks, one of the interior designers most closely associated with Swinging London. Prices start at £16, varying depending on the type of paint and amount you buy.
