Some superb retro and midcentury-style light fittings on eBay right now for not a lot of cash. This 1970s Scandinavian-style ceiling light is just one of them.
According to the seller, it is reminiscent of Hans Age Jakobsson’s ceiling lamp designed for Markaryd, but doesn't come with either designer or maker attribution.
So we're left with the look, which is made via three concentric aluminium disks with a brushed copper finish on the outside and lacquered white one on the inside. There are two additional smaller disks with a similar finish placed at the top and bottom of the lampshade, as well as a large cylinder housing the bulb.
The ceiling lamp is decried as being in 'very good condition' and 'in full working order', with a few age related scratches and marks on the copper finish which 'do not distract from the overall look of the piece'
