Part of Heal's new autumn collection is the Mansfield Melin Tregwynt Bed by John Jenkins.
It is part of a whole range of furniture by Jenkins that takes its inspiration from designs of the 1940s and 1950s. The bed has an oak frame with slightly splayed legs whilst the headboard is coverd in traditional Welsh weaving company Melin Tregwynt's signature doublecloth St David's Cross weave. This bed costs £1,595. If you are willing to opt for a plain bedboard, the bed is also available with lime Linea fabric headboard for £1,295.
