Frankfurt Kitchen

Following on from the Barbican Estate kitchen tea towel, and tower block cushions we featured last week, Things You Can Buy are offering some more modernist interior inspiration with the new Frankfurt Kitchen tea towel.

The Frankfurt Kitchen has the honour of being one of the world's first fitted kitchens. It was designed by Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky in 1926 and intended to save on both women's labour and overall space – it measured just 1.9 x 3.4 metres. The tea towel design shows it in all its glory, down to the blue cabinets which were coloured to scare away flies.

It's yours for £12.
