Sanderson are best known for their long heritage in wallpaper and fabric design. Every so often they extend some of their pattern magic into homewares too – we wish they could do it more often if the results are as charming as this Atomic biscuit barrel

Sanderson's 1950s designs have always proved popular – whether it's the naturally-inspired Dandelion clocks, or the fashion-focused Fifi line. This Atomic pattern takes its influence from the molecular style designs which came out of the Festival of Britain. The pattern has been used to decorate a classic tin biscuit barrel, perfect for adding a retro touch to a kitchen.

It seems to be the only homeware item they're selling using this pattern at the moment, though the design is also available on some stationery. Hopefully more items will follow in due course.

The barrel is available for £15.99.
