If you are on the look out for some stylish new lighting, take a look at Heal's Twiitter lamps. Don't be put off by the awful name, the lamps offer some classy midcentury style looks.
Available as either a floor or a table lamp, these are very simple linear designs – part of what's Heal's first lighting collection. They've got a tripod base, and a shade shape reminiscent of Arne Jacobsen's 1960 AJ lamps.
They're both available in four colours. For a more midcentury look, pick the black or grey options. Or, for a touch of eighties modernism – if you're ready to go there – go for mint green or a pink instead.
The table lamp (visible in the image below) is priced at £150, while the floor lamp is £250.
