The good news is that Monoqi, one of our favourite online design sale stores, is now operating out of the UK (rather than mainland Europe), which obviously means postage is a lot cheaper than it was. Even better news is that the retailer is stocking these rather cool 1960s-style Yoko pendant lamps right now too.
The lights are a retro design (rather than a vintage one), the work of label TEO and said to be ‘nspired by ancient Japanese teapots, would you believe? Regardless of that, we love the colours (five in total) and the look, which would add some bold colour to any midcentury-style room.
The lights are constructed from steel and handblown glass, with a textile cable. They usually sell for £225, but are at Monoqi for £176 each.
