If you want a practical classic for your home, look no further than this wonderful George Nelson Triangle Clock, which has just been reissued.
Practical because it tells you the time, a classic because, quite simply, it is. Designed by Nelson as part of his wall clock collection back in 1955, this new version returns courtesy of Vitra as part of its new ‘Black Collection’.
Black by name and ceetainly by nature, with the clock constructed from black metallic sheets that are gently folded to create a subtle three-dimensional effect. That is contrasted with the white yellow for the hands and number markers.
All the high end finishing you would expect of Vitra and price to match. You can pick one up for around £260 from Skandium, Nest or Heal’s.
