The Riley armchair at Swoon Editions definitely channels post-war British design to us.
Of course, this isn’t a ‘Race’ or a ‘Day’ design from the late 1940s or early 50s. It is an original limited edition from Swoon Editions in a choice of two colours of canvas upholstery. That seating is supported by a steel frame, with oak arm rests finishing things off.
We really like it. If you do too it is a limited edition of 17 of each, selling for £449.
