There is a very, very slight chance that you will see one of these wheeling down your road. But realistically, The Skateroom x The Andy Warhol Foundation limited edition skateboard decks are more likely to be found on a wall.
It’s a collaboration between deck maker and the iconic pop artist’s estate. The Skateroom promotes and sells limited edition art-based skateboards and in doing so, supports non-profit projects that empower children through skateboarding and art.
Check out all the past collaborations on The Skateroom site and of course, these Warhol boards, which use some of the most recognisable pieces from the Warhol archive. But they don’t come cheap. After all, this is limited edition art we are talking about.
The set of eight Campbell’s Soup Can board are €1.413,02, the Guns design is €471,01 for the three decks, the Car Crash design is €471,01 and the Gold Marilyn boards are €1.884,03.
