Well, Marshall has been doing pretty well with the concept, so it’s likely that the Fender Bluetooth speakers will be a shrewd move too.

Yes, of course they look like the iconic amplifiers, complete with adjustable volume knobs and metal grilles.That’s perhaps the biggest selling point here. But certainly not the only selling point.

The larger Monterey speaker has two 5.12-inch woofers and two 1-inch tweeters, offering something like 120w of audio output. But the size means it isn’t portable, requiring mains power to work.

If you want something smaller and portable, check out the battery-powered Newport, which offers around 30w of output and with a built-in mic, you can take calls via the speaker too.

No UK pricing as yet, but as an estimate, the US prices are $349.99 and $199.99 respectively. We’ll add those UK prices when we get them.
