This is one a range covering things you probably didn’t know you needed for your kitchen. But when you see the designs on offer, you might change your mind.

This is the kind of finishing touch any retro kitchen needs. Especially if your retro kitchen happens to be inspired by the 1950s.

London-based Planet Sputnik Homestyle is, as you probably guessed, a brand inspired by the 1950s atomic age. Its unique items are designed, screen-printed and produced to the highest standards in Great Britain and in enough colours to match whatever decor you’ve gone for. Retro shades, of course.

The only problem is that a lot of the designs on show on the website seem to be down as ‘coming soon’. That could be a case of them selling out they might well be around the corner. Either way might be worth dropping the shop a line to show an interest. It might just hurry them along.

When the full stock is in place you can pick up the likes of the oven gloves for £25 and the apron, which is unpriced and down as one of those ‘coming soon’ products.

Working down the page, there’s also tea towels in various colours for £9.95, shopping bags for £20 and if you want to go mad or go down the gift route, a tea towel gift pack for £35.

Other designs too, although it is hard to judge when many of those will land. You can shop what is in place at the Planet Sputnik website now.
