It’s sad to report that due to the service being closed, the Retro To Go daily digest email will soon no longer be sent out.
I don’t know when, but the service that sends it out (Feedburner by Google) is undergoing some changes. The result is that some features are being removed, one of which is the ability to send out daily emails to all who have subscribed over the years. It is down to end in July, so it could be any day now.
This has been running for some years too. I know a good number of people have been getting the daily digest since almost the start of the site (too many years ago to think about) and as such, it does represent quite a change. There might well be ways around it by moving all subscriptions to a new service, but that would be difficult, time-consuming and probably costly too.
If you want to keep up with the website updates and features, there are various options available. Of course, the main one is to follow me on social media. I update on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest if you use any of those. I’m not on TikTok because, quite honestly, no one wants to see me dance.
Alternatively, I do a regular email round-up. I intend it to be weekly, but it does sometimes arrive later if I haven’t updated the site enough to put together an email. If you want to subscribe to the weekly/regular email, you can do that via the following link:
